Photography Studio Grand Opening
Denville Photographer, Mat Robinson opens his new studio
We had our formal photography studio grand opening on Saturday, and I have to admit that I was a little overwhelmed. I never imagined that so many really great friends, neighbors and strangers would turn up to help us launch our family business. Amazing.
Without this turning into an Oscars speech, I'd love to thank everyone that helped out from day one, ripping up carpets, painting, coming up with ideas and suggestions. All those that kept pushing us along even though it felt like we'd never get there. All the wonderful volunteers on the day who I hardly got chance to speak to and thank, but you were all very much appreciated.
I'd love to thank my two boys who have barely seen me while I've been working through the night and virtually living at the studio for the past 2 months. Don't worry, that's over - I'm back boys!
And of course, I couldn't have done this without Christine keeping me going and taking on more than her share of the work at home and now at the studio. She's awesome.....but you can't have her, she's mine.
I'd also like to thank Tiffany Rios, our American Idol contestant, local celebrity, and friend, for performing during the grand opening and really giving the crowd a rare and intimate performance.
